Oh dear...Caught myself with my mouth hanging open on this one! I cannot remember the last time I had a cupcake! I am such a sucker for cake! Marie Antoinette has nothing on me..."Let them eat cake" indeed. I cannot wait to see the next piece! How goes your new school year?

Thank you very much. This was not a fun painting for me, the composition came quickly, but the paint did not. After wiping it out, I stayed with the original composition, but those darn swirls fought me every step of the way.
