West Dallas Community School

I'm taking a break from posting a new painting to share this video of my school. It would mean so much to me if you would take a couple of minutes to watch this short video. West Dallas is one of the 8 poorest areas of the United States and we are funded through private donations. These are the smiling faces I get to see and teach every day. Thank you so much for watching, Enjoy!!

Your timing for posting this video couldn't have been better..just finished watching "Precious", powerful but such a downer! And then comes this video with such an uplifting and hopeful message. Thank you for making a difference!

What a fabulous video, Angela. I love the cleanliness of the school, the smiles of delight and joy and interest in the faces of the children. You must so enjoy going to work every day and that is the best feeling. To know the kids appreciate their education...no finer gift.

Great video, Angela. I'm wondering why I haven't seen this playing locally on TV. This is such a worthy cause and I DO live here so I will be volunteering in any way I can. I'm not a teacher but maybe they can find something for me to do.

Great video, Angela. My two daughters are teachers (and married to teachers) in SW Louisiana. They are so frustrated with the red tape and what of public schools. Your video demonstrates what can happen when people truly care. Thanks for sharing.
