This one scared me in the beginning, and then once I began I really had a good time painting the mannequins. Once again I appreciate Karin Jurick's challenging subject matter and hard work and dedication to all of us. Please check out the DSFDF blog to see incredible artwork from some very talented folks.

Hi Angela! I see you took a couple of the most challenging mannequins and turned them into pretty painted ladies. I'm impressed with your work around those intricate glasses! hugs....
Came to comment on your DSFDF, which is simple, artful and elegant...but I scrolled down and visited your delightful dogs (lots of poochtraits popping up on the blogs) Yours are super and I looked for a follower button but can't find one...I'd like to easily follow your dogblogs And, Angela, I'd like to invite you to visit and check my comments on this DSFDF project...and maybe have a few smiles
Thank you all; I really appreciate your comments.
Love to see artwork by local Dallas artists. Thanks for sharing.
Hola, Angela. So happy you added a follower button and overjoyed to be your first blogalong (I don't call em followers). And thank you so much for hopping on my blogwagon..I show off my art, but I try to keep things amusing. If I can bring a smile, or brighten someone's day, that's more important than selling my paintings
Angela
It is always nice to visit your blog,I like the pucker lips
Manpolo - welcome to my little blogworld. I, too, am happy to meet another Dallas artist; I am about to go over and check out your artwork. Thanks for visiting.
James - thank you for being my first follower! I had no idea if I had done it correctly, but I see that I must have. Again thank you for your encouragement.
Conrad - Thank you, a very odd assignment it was. Of course, Karin's was perfect. I'm excited about the new assignment, it seems a little more approachable and familiar.
Very good painting, Angela! I like the effect of being able to look down through successive layers of paint right to the canvas.
Love the doggie portraits...well done.
