MISS 68 #5/50
8x12 oil on moleskine nfs
This is Miss 68 painted specifically for Sharon Hodges' moleskine over at Texas Moleskin Round-Up and #5 in the 50/50 series. Miss 68 belongs to friends of ours, I don't know what I like better, the amazing hospitality when we visit their gorgeous lakehouse in Corsicana or the bevy of bovines grazing outside our bedroom window! John has a wonderful variety of cattle, including some of my favorite longhorns. His cattle approach him easily making it a wide eyed adventure for myself and my camera toting husband. I hope you like cows as much as I do, Sharon.

I never thought I could love a cow...but this cow...well you've given her a personality!!! applause!!!
Miss 68 is gorgeous! Look at those big eyes and long lashes. And stunning bone structure! I do always feel bad when I see brands or piercings on any animal. I suppose it must be very efficient though or it wouldn't be done. Beautifully painted, Angela!
Miss 68 wins the Miss Cow America Award. What a beauty!
Gros bisous;
This is delightful! Love the way you've captured that Cow Curiosity in her expression.
Beautiful Angela! Love cows and the way you paint them. Bardledoo is wonderful too! how did I miss that sweet face. Happy 4th!
Most definitely my favorite subject painted so elegantly well! Happy Fourth Angela!
