TWEEDLES

8x8 oil on canvas panel
Another painting for James Parker's, Windows to the World blog. This was fun to paint, but challenging because of the unusually adorable features that make pugs so special. Thanks for looking.

Wonderful portrait. The bright eyes and and soft fur are lovely. The background is perfect in the way it picks up bits of the red collar.

Tweedles -- that's me said...

Angela
It's me "Tweedles".
When I first saw that you painted me, I called to my moms to come over to the computer- quick!. I was jumping up and down. Their eyes looked at the painting. There I was, right before thier eyes, the exact image of me. They could not believe what you did! They could hardly see, as you made them so happy, that their eyes had tears of happiness!
What can I say- you did an awsomely spectacular job!
Thank you so much for letting your hands and your heart paint this beautiful masterpiece of me.
It is me, it is me. We are still in shock. I wanted to write and tell you. I finally got my chance.
Thank you sooo much from the tips of my paws.
love
tweedles
