One of Kya's favorite activities was seeing the world from Ethan's vantage point...that is on his shoulders and even the occasional piggyback ride around the house...but only on Kya's terms...kind of how she lived her whole life.

We love it! Right now we have it sitting on a table, and it's kind of scary how it really looks like her!
Kya is so adorable; look at that face! I am sure Ethan will be ecstatic to have her portrait. It makes me so darned sad knowing anyone has lost their best friend.

Calico's are my favorite. This one looks a lot like one I had when I was little. Very nice painting and a great memory for Ethan.
